![]() ![]() You can even plug in the included antenna to increase your range up to 30 feet!įire from up to 30 feet away! Concealed carry If you want your fireball to come from a different part of the room, hide your Pyro ahead of time and use the remote to shoot an unexpected flame. That’s why the Pyro Mini can be fired with a remote that’s even smaller than the flamethrowing device itself! The remote’s squeeze trigger lets you fire it easily no matter where you have to hide it. If you’re trying to present the illusion that you have mystical control over fire, you'll want to hide your button pressing from your audience. Then aim your Pyro (carefully), press the trigger, and fire! Once loaded, strap the Pyro to your wrist with the velcro strap. The included plunger makes it easy to roll up and load these materials into the barrels of your shooter. These quick-burn materials are designed to provide a fast, impressive, and safe flame. To get the fire started, load the barrels of the Mini Pyro with small pieces of the included flash paper and flash cotton. Launch fireballs up to 10 feet! Easy to load By holding down the trigger, you can fire both barrels simultaneously for a double-barrelled burn. Once you’ve mastered your fiery feats, try using the burst fire. Both the main device and the accompanying remote have on/off switches (with indicator lights) so you don’t risk accidental firings before you’re ready. Start with the handheld firing mode while you’re getting used to the device, and switch to remote firing for more impressive illusions. Hot handĪlthough it was designed for professional magicians, the Pyro Mini is easy enough for anyone to use. so combining the two makes the 3d6 5ft radius fireballs I mention in the post.It feels as cool as it looks too. This additional damage can exceed the spell’s maximum damage. ![]() ![]() For each 5-foot increment you reduce the spell, you increase the spell’s damage by 1d6. If a creature is in the area of multiple blasts, it attempts a single Reflex save against the combined damage.Ĭoncentrated Fire (Selective Spell or Widen Spell, Spellcraft 6 ranks): You can reduce the radius of your fireball by increments of 5 feet, to a minimum of a 5-foot radius. The grid intersection of all blasts must be within 30 feet of each other. For every 2 caster levels, you toss a miniature fireball with a 10-foot radius that deals 2d6 points of fire damage. I linked the feat but here's a summary of the two relevant parts of Magic Trick.Ĭluster Bomb (Spellcraft 6 ranks): You are able to throw multiple small explosions with a single spell instead of the normal effect. Thanks, happy gaming over the holiday season and new year's!Įdit: Hey thanks for the silver u/DerivedKnight, greatly appreciated My biggest question is should the PC go full Sorcerer or just take 1 level to get the Bloodlines then go Wizard? What are the pros/cons of those options and if you think Wizard is the way to go, what choices would you pick for it? Evocation specialist, Divination specialist, etc? I'm guessing it has to be Human for the bonus feat but honestly haven't figured out the feat plan yet so I'm not sure. That's what I have collected at the moment. In addition there's the False Focus feat to get rid of having to spend 1gp per casting with Saltpeter and keeping track of how many doses you have left (More people should check out False Focus with Alchemical Reagents in general, that's a fun combo). ![]() There's also Saltpeter, which we can use as an additional material component for +1 damage per fireball (if I understand it right, I think with Cluster Bombs they would each get the +1 because it doesn't make any sense to me that one of the fireballs gets +1 damage but the rest don't), so they would be 5d6+6 each. These each give +1 damage per die, meaning the Widened Concentrated Clustered Fireballs are firing off one 5d6+5 fireball per (CL+3 / 2) for a 4th level spell slot. It doesn't auto add another fireball like Spell Specialization does but gets you your next fireball count one level early which is pretty damn good.Ĭrossblooded Sorcerer archetype using Orc Bloodline and Draconic Bloodline. Spell Specialization for +2 Caster Level for an extra tiny fireball per casting. Wayang Spellhunter + Magical Lineage to get Widen Spell down to only +1 spell level. That lets you reduce the radius three times back down to 5ft fireballs so they do 5d6 damage each. Widen Spell feat to make the pre-concentrated Cluster Bombs 20ft instead of 10ft. Concentrated Cluster Bombs for a default of one 3d6 5ft fireball per two caster levels with no caster level maximum. Hey all, I've been working on making a PC who specializes in the Fireball spell and here's what I have so far. ![]()
