![]() ![]() Are crossfades easy on the timeline with a graphic representation of the merged audio files?Ħ. Creating a Crossfade Procedure In the Audio Editor, create as good a loop as you can. Is there a Reverse in RAM key command so I can quickly flip back and forth, to reverse samples on the timeline quickly and easily?ĥ. Can you also do 'one-shot' samples like Acid Pro, whereby they are not looped, but with pitching on the +/- keys, the samples go down in pitch and get longer in length like a classic turntable pitching?Ĥ. Can you pitch up and down by semitones quickly, with the +/- keys like in Acid Pro, to step through different keys to match samples harmonically?ģ. (I'd be using Mixcraft on the Mac I think)Ģ. Can you edit in Mixcraft like Sound Forge does, and make edits to the sound, or do you still need to use a secondary wave editor to chop and destructively make edits to recorded audio?I still use Sonic Foundry Sound Forge to make loops, and on the Mac I use Twisted Wave editor which is very similar. Instead of hitting keys on your virtual keyboard, Acid Xpress lets to combine loops and samples of guitar riffs, drum beats, vocals, and other music. With TwistedWave, you can: Copy and paste your audio, Undo/redo instantly, Apply effects, such as fade in/out. I did hear that Mixcraft was built by the same guys as the Sonic Foundry Acid Pro days? is that correct? so there must be some of that solid simplicity that made those older versions so good?ġ. A very easy to use audio editor and recorder. I still use Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 3.0 as I thought it was much better and more stable than later Sony versions, so I am wondering how it compares to Mixcraft?I will download the demo but just wanted some user advice on the following questions to see if its right for me? ![]()
